LIFE Program currently has two available job opportunities.

Family Support Specialist (FSS): This
person must be a parent/caregiver of a child with a learning, mental health or
behavioral health disability that has had some success navigating the
child-serving systems. The FSS
provides support and guidance to
other parents/caregivers by attending and preparing for school, treatment
planning and/or interagency meetings. The
FSS will help facilitate trainings and help publish the newsletter.
This is a part-time position with flexible hours and summers off.
Program Coordinator: The
Coordinator works with children and families on a multi-system level,
providing systems intervention and influencing program development.
This person oversees the LIFE staff and all events and trainings
sponsored by the LIFE Program. Other
responsibilities include attending interagency meetings and community resource
fairs to ensure public awareness of the program and what
LIFE can offer a family. This is a
full time position and requires a Master’s degree in psychology or a related
field and at least two years experience in a child-serving system.
