L.I.F.E. C.A.R.E.S Newsletters Toll Free Help Links Training Support Groups Family Community Resource Specialist	WHO WE ARE LIFE is a team of concerned, experienced parents and professionals who provide information and referral resources while working closely with families of children and adolescents who have emotional, behavioral, social and /or learning issues. LIFE also provides families with opportunities to share common concerns through support groups and workshops. LIFE works with local child-serving systems, and participates in various projects and organizations. LIFE offers a lending library of books, videos and other resources through the CARES Drop-In Center. The CARES Center also has a clothes closet and food pantry available to the community. Please call first to ensure that staff is available. The program publishes a quarterly newsletter. WHAT WE DO CASE MANAGEMENT Specialized and Individualized Administrative Case Management. Guidance and support through complex multi-system child services. Collaboration with families in initiating or changing services in the mental health system. FAMILY SUPPORT SPECIALIST Provide support and guidance through the child-serving systems. Attend school meetings, treatment planning and/or interagency meetings. Co-facilitate parent support groups and trainings. OUR STAFF Administrative Case Manager Shayna Stengel, B.A., is actively involved with the various child servicing systems of Bucks County. Shayna works with many families with children in residential placement and also works with families that are involved in multisystems. Family Support Specialists Denise Hooper is a mother of two. She has extensive experience navigating systems and finding resources for children with special needs.
